Our window display in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month; a little bit cheeky (we pinched the boss’s bra!) but we wanted a light hearted approach for what is a devastating condition.
Cancer in all it’s forms is a truly dreadful disease; many of our team members have an all too personal, and indeed painful experience of cancer, having seen family members &/or friends face it. Drawing on those experiences we are uniquely placed to offer not just hair & beauty advice to support you and your supporters, but somewhere to come that isn’t *medical*; a place to relax, unwind and maybe even a shoulder to cry on.
Whilst cancer treatment undoubtedly saves lives, the side effects can have a huge impact on your appearance which in turn impacts your feelings. The side effects of chemotherapy can be devastating and one of the hardest things for a woman to deal with is losing her hair and in some cases eyebrows and eyelashes as well.
We can give you advice and guidance on all aspects from hair and scalp care, nail and skin care advice. Our qualified beauticians are on hand offering various beauty treatments including manicures, pedicures and even make-up lessons showing patients how to cope with losing eyebrows and eyelashes. If you’re suffering from hair loss we offer wig styling & cutting services and micro blading for eyebrow and scalp. We understand that a lot of folks adopt a more holistic approach to their care and our reflexologist/reiki expert is on hand to provide further advice and support.
Your privacy is paramount and we have cosy, private treatment rooms for your use and an experienced team who do genuinely understand and care.
